Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Coil – SGCC/SGCD/SGC340 | Z275 Zinc Coating for Automotive & Construction
Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Coil
It is a process of immersing steel in molten zinc to form a zinc-iron alloy coating, which has both physical barrier and electrochemical protection as dual anti-corrosion mechanisms.
It is mainly used in manufacturing car bodies and appliance parts, etc. The thickness of the zinc coating, which can be made according to the customers’ requests, together with the suitable chemical treatment (e.g. chromate coating treatment, or anti-finger print treatment), enables hot-dip galvanized and galvannealed steel coils to become truly diversified products with excellent quality.

Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel FAQ
1. What grades of hot-dip galvanized steel do you offer?
We offer SGCC (commercial), SGCD1/SGCD2/SGCD3 (stamping grades), SGC340/SGC400/SGC440 (structural grades), and many more. Custom grades are available upon request.
2. What thickness and width ranges can you produce?
We offer thicknesses from 0.02 mm to 1.6 mm and widths from 800 mm to 1520 mm. Custom dimensions are available upon request.
3. What is the difference between SGCC, SGCD, and SGC grades?
SGCC is for general commercial use. SGCD grades are designed for stamping and deep drawing applications with higher elongation. SGC grades are structural steels with higher tensile strength for construction applications.
4. What surface treatments are available?
We offer galvanized, PVC coating, black and color painting, transparent oil, anti-rust oil, chromate coating, and anti-finger print treatments. Custom treatments are available upon request.
5. What is your minimum order quantity?
Our standard MOQ is 500 kg, but we can discuss lower quantities for sample orders or trial runs.
